Dentons, CIBC and Executive Women’s Forum will discuss the legal issues associated with the role of the CISO, including the evolving laws regarding security requirements, the impact of internal practices on the scope of available legal privilege, additional reporting requirements arising from new laws, the importance of internal practices and documentation to compliance with new legal requirements, and potential liability of CISOs. The presentation will address both practical considerations and the impacts that recent legal developments have on those considerations.
