Clifford Law - Ave the Date / Questions From The Trenches

Proposed Hypotheticals for Ethics 2024: Questions from the Trenches

For 17 years, Clifford Law Offices has sponsored free programs on professional responsibility on many subjects — from client communication and trial work to preparing witnesses and social media. In 2024, we would like to turn to you — the lawyers in the trenches — and ask what is on your minds in the area of legal ethics.

Please complete this form to let us know to what lawyers should be paying more attention and perhaps we will present your hypothetical in our upcoming two-hour program, “Ethics 2024: Questions from the Trenches.”

The two-hour webinar program will be offered Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 2:30-4:30 p.m and will be moderated by Robert A. Clifford.

Joining him will be the Hon. Mary Cay Marubio of the Cook County Circuit Court and a member of the Illinois Judicial Ethics Committee; Professor Kevin Hopkins, the Brody-O’Neill Professor Scholar who teaches professional responsibility at the UIC Law School; and Melissa Smart, Director of Education of the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission. This all-star panel will be answering pressing issues in the area of ethics and we will be polling you throughout the two hours for everyone’s input on what they think is important.

We look forward to hearing from you!
