CIWBA: The Struggles & Challenges Facing Prisoners who Undertake Litigation while Incarcerated - 11/30

The CIWBA's second CLE of the 2022-2023 membership year will be held on November 30th at noon over Zoom. 

Amanda Hughett, an Assistant Professor of Legal Studies at the University of Illinois Springfield, will be presenting on the struggles and challenges facing prisoners who undertake litigation while incarcerated.  

During the 1970s, imprisoned people launched a movement to challenge inhumane prison practices across the nation. This presentation highlights the complicated relationship between the imprisoned activists and their attorney allies.
