The Adult Protective Services Program (APS) at the Illinois Department on Aging will hold a webinar under a grant awarded by the Administration on Community Living from 10:00-11:30 a.m., April 2, 2021. This webinar will explore the challenges faced in responding to financial exploitation of elders and adults with disabilities who are unable to participate in the investigation, and the importance of collaboration between criminal and civil attorneys in the prevention and prosecution of these cases.

Page Ulrey has worked on the prosecutorial and civil sides of elder abuse cases for seventeen years. She conducts training and curriculum development for elder abuse investigation and prosecution throughout the country and internationally. She has testified before the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging and has twice spoken at the White House Conference on Elder Justice.

Recertification credits are approved for APS. Free CLEs are pending for attorneys licensed to practice in Illinois.
