Summary of Teleconference:
Our ethics obligations can differ drastically based on the categories of persons with whom we may interact. In estate planning, as well as estate and trust administration, we may be presented from time to time with situations in which the lines between client and non-client are sometimes blurred. We can find ourselves in difficult positions involving:
 
Speakers will address:

  • Prospective clients

  • Unrepresented parties (including beneficiaries and Trustees)

  • Parties represented by other lawyers

  • Lawyers serving as Personal Representatives and Trustees

A box lunch will also be provided, so when sending an email to RSVP, please include your choice of sandwich from the following options:

1) Turkey & Cheddar (lettuce, tomato, red onions, garlic Aioli on sourdough
2) Tuna Salad (lettuce, tomato on sourdough)
3) Tomato Basil BLT (bacon, lettuce, tomato, garlic aioli on tomato basil bread)
4) Grilled Chicken & Avo BLT (chicken, bacon, white cheddar, avocado, lettuce tomato, garlic aioli on sourdough)
5) Toasted Italiano (Soppressata, black forest ham, provolone, red onions, lettuce, sliced pepperoncini, garlic aioli, Greek dressing on a French baguette – sandwich is warm – can’t guarantee it still will be at start of Cannon) or
6) Toasted Garden Caprese (Fresh Mozzarella, basil, tomato, lettuce, balsamic vinaigrette, garlic aioli on ciabatta bread – sandwich is warm – can’t guarantee it still will be at start of Cannon).  Sandwiches come with plain potato chips and cookie.
 
There is no cost for this teleconference and attendees can earn 1.5 hours of Continuing Legal Education Credit for Illinois and other states.
Continuing Education Credit also given for CPA, CTFA, CFP, CLU, ChFC.
