Request for AV Equipment Usage
Court Administration is introducing a new request form for court participants to complete if they are requesting to use any type of audio/visual equipment during their hearing in the courtroom. This request will be directed to the Sangamon County IS Department for set-up of the equipment in the courtroom where your hearing will be located.
Please see the Request for AV Equipment Usage form for you to save to your computer. The form is quick and easy to complete. If your hearing is within 5 business days, we ask that you submit your request to us as soon as possible. It is important that you provide as much detailed information as to your audio/visual equipment needs on the request form. The goal is to provide more information on the form, less room for miss-communication down the road!
This Request for AV Equipment Usage form is readily available in all Sangamon County courtrooms, the 5th, 6th, and 7th floor reception areas, and on the Sangamon County Court’s website. Please submit your completed form to the Court Administration office located in Room 522 or scan and email to us at SCCRT@sangamonil.gov.
We understand that this may impact how you regularly conduct your work. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we hope this change will make the path to AV equipment ultimately easier for all court participants.
