The Revenue Litigation Bureau represents the interests of the People of the State of Illinois in tort litigation involving personal injury and property damage arising from injuries to state employees and damage to state property. The Bureau also handles state court administrative review actions challenging the administrative decisions of state agencies. In addition, the Bureau pursues debt recovery actions ranging from major litigation to recover improperly spent state grant funds and fines, penalties and contractual liabilities to routine debt collection matters.

Qualifications:
Candidates must be licensed by the State of Illinois at the time of application. A strong candidate will have sound judgment, a commitment to public service and an interest in litigation work.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience, salaries begin at $71,400.
