Position Summary: Kanoski Bresney is a rapidly growing law firm who is seeking a highly motivated and Illinois Bar licensed Workers Compensation Attorney to handle a large and growing docket of cases. We are looking for candidates with 1-3 years’ experience in Workers Compensation.

The lawyer will be supported by skilled legal assistant(s) who will help lead client communications, prepare documents, and all demands related to your cases. We are looking for someone with strong negotiation skills, ability to manage time and case load, ability to communicate effectively, and a team player.

You will be a part of a fast-paced team environment and will have all the needed support to allow you to grow as a lawyer and to focus on the proper workup of your cases in preparation for settlement or litigation.

Other facets of the position are to support the firm mission and values and align, motivate and inspire other team members to deliver exceptional high-quality results by their consistent example and influence. In addition, all employees are responsible for fostering a positive work environment by building effective working relationships, making sound decisions while delivering and achieving high-quality, customer-focused results.

Work Locations: Primary locations are Springfield or Bloomington. However, other office locations served and are an option for this opening include: Champaign, Decatur, Macomb, Quincy, and Rushville Illinois. Remote work may be an option for the right person(s), at a minimum during COVID.
