Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism's Annual Conference - 4/28

The Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism is hosting our annual Future Is Now: Legal Services conference on April 24. The conference will be held virtually from 12 – 4:30 p.m. I would love to invite you and the members of the Sangamon County Bar Association to register and attend. $30 early bird tickets are available through Friday, March 14.

The Future Is Now is one of the nation’s premier legal professionalism conferences. Attendees are eligible to receive 4 hours of professional responsibility CLE credit in Illinois, including 1 hour of diversity and inclusion credit and 1 hour of mental health and substance abuse credit.
 
Through speaker talks and interactive town hall discussions, the conference will explore topics like:
 

  • Identifying and coping with vicarious trauma as a lawyer

  • Practical use cases for leveraging generative AI throughout the client’s journey

  • Recognizing and responding to bullying behavior in legal workplaces

  • Strategies for understanding and embracing generational differences in the legal profession

  • How focusing on client-centered lawyering and soft skills benefits lawyers
