GBA CLE - Illinois Service Members Employment and Reemployment Rights Act - 3/13

Please remember to register for the GBA's next virtual CLE event, which will take place on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at noon.  Attorney Bill Phillips will present on the Illinois Service Members Employment and Reemployment Rights Act ("ISERRA").

ISERRA became effective on January 1, 2019, and has consolidated and clarified the rights and benefits available to military members under Illinois law. The presentation will discuss ISERRA’s reemployment rights, paid leave provisions, healthcare and pension protections, and enforcement mechanisms.

Bill Phillips, the current Illinois ISERRA advocate, will provide an overview of the law and take questions from attendees.  This presentation is estimated to provide .75 hours of MCLE credit.
