Litigation Claims Attorney
As a Senior Claims Attorney, you'll have the authority and autonomy to manage a wide variety of claims and coverage litigation across multiple jurisdictions. In addition to managing your own litigated claim files, you'll work closely with the company's professional claims adjustors to provide legal consultation and direction on a myriad of claims and coverage issues. This position is ideal for a highly motivated and proactive individual who wants an opportunity to make a direct impact as a valued resource for our claims operation.
This position allows full-time remote work.
How does a Senior Claims Attorney make an impact?
Assigns cases to outside counsel and evaluates their performance.
Provides legal advice and training to claims personnel to ensure consistent file handling.
Controls litigation costs and claim severity.
Do you have what we’re looking for?
Five years of experience handling personal injury litigation, preferably insurance defense, and/or insurance coverage cases.
Law degree and at least 5 years of insurance industry experience.
