Summary of Teleconference:
Not all charges of breaches of professional ethics result from consciously attempting to cut corners, take advantage of a situation, extract excessive fees or treat someone unfairly.  In fact, an ethics complaint may arise out of facts showing the respondent was striving to provide a laudatory level of service.  During this program, we’ll address issues that may develop from:

Speakers will address:

  • Concurrent representation of spouses and other family members

  • Planning for a client’s possible eventual incapacity

  • Safekeeping of a client’s estate planning documents

  • Disclosure of a disabled client’s confidential information

A box lunch will also be provided, so when sending an email to RSVP, please include your choice of sandwich from the following options, 1) Pepe (ham & cheese), 2) Big John (roast beef), 3) Turkey Tom, 4) Vito (salami, capocollo, cheese, onion, oil & vinegar, 5) The Veggie (double cheese, avocado spread & cucumber) or 6) JJ BLT.  Sandwiches come with lettuce, tomato and mayo.  Also, please note any dietary restrictions (i.e. peanut allergy, dairy allergy, etc.). 


There is no cost for this teleconference and attendees can earn 1.5 hours of Continuing Legal Education Credit for Illinois and other states. Continuing Education Credit also given for CPA, CTFA, CFP, CLU, ChFC.
