The State of Illinois has just undergone a seismic change in the distribution of judicial jurisdiction in decades. What does it mean for appellate practice in Illinois? What will be different, what will be the same, and what will be the challenges facing bench and bar alike? Please attend our panel discussion of these issues, featuring the Clerk of the Illinois Appellate Court, Second District Jeff Kaplan; former Appellate Lawyers Association president Ted Kionka; and former Illinois Appellate Lawyers Association president Steve Pflaum.
