WRITING TO PERSUADE

Professor Timothy P. Terrell, who teaches legal writing, legal ethics, and legal theory at Emory University School of Law, will conduct the seminar. He is the leading presenter of legal writing programs for practicing lawyers and judges, not just in the United States, but around the world.
For this signature ALA event, Professor Terrell will provide an understanding of the elements of rhetoric and their relation to the fundamental principles of excellent writing, focusing on effectively communicating with a skeptical, risk-averse reader.

Cost:$15.00 for the Appellate Lawyers Association members; and $60.00 for non-members.
CLE Credit: Participants will earn 3.75 hours of CLE Credit will be awarded for this event. The ALA is an approved MCLE provider.
