After almost 28 years on the United States Supreme Court, Associate Justice Stephen G. Breyer has announced his impending retirement. The Appellate Lawyers Association cordially invites you to a conversation with three Illinois appellate lawyers who served as his law clerks: Linda T. Coberly, of Winston & Strawn LLP; Carolyn Shapiro, of Chicago-Kent College of Law; and Robert N. Hochman, of Sidley Austin LLP. Our panelists will discuss Justice Breyer’s legacy in relation to his impact on the Court and the nation, and what his departure may mean for both.

Cost: Free for the Appellate Lawyers Association members and $25.00 for non-members.
